NO TWO UP THIS ANZAC DAY
Regretfully we will not be conducting Two-Up this Anzac Day as NSW Health have put strict rules around playing two-up on Anzac Day.
We have worked hard to keep our patrons safe over the past twelve months and will not put anyone’s safety at risk.
Therefore, the decision has been made to cancel the game this year.
The NSW Health coronavirus guidelines say that:
- two-up should be played outside (for example in the car park or area with two or more sides open to the weather),
- there has to be two square metres between participants
- the crowd can only place bets with the person next to them
- we must discourage participants from passing through the crowd to make/take a bet
- the game organiser must ensure that each spinner sanitises their hands before receiving the coins and kip board and
- Covid Marshalls must police the game
We look forward to welcoming everyone back for Two-up in 2022.
