A full day of events is planned for Friday 16th April to kick off Youth Week, culminating in Goulburn’s Great Race, where significant prizes will be on the line.
Goulburn Mulwaree Council, PCYC Goulburn, Mission Australia and the Youth Council have pulled together to organise the day of activities, which will be held at PCYC off Avoca Street.
The event will begin at 10am, with free inflatable activities, presentations and displays including a setup from Royal Military College, and the PCYC sport trailer along with a free BBQ.
Registrations will be taken throughout the morning and Goulburn’s Great Race kicks off at 1pm, which will see teams of two race around the CBD on foot completing challenges and tasks.
The race begins at the PCYC and will take competitors around the centre of the City to key landmarks and locations for challenges, before finishing at the Council Chambers where points will be tallied.
Prizes on offer include two tablet computers for the 1st place team, two $50 vouchers for the 2nd place team and two movie vouchers for the 3rd placed team.
