Talking about death can be tricky. It can certainly be tricky to know where to start.
This event is all about taking away some of the discomfort and sharing thoughts and feelings in a respectful, confidential space.
The event will begin with a discussion panel of workers in this area - including a palliative care worker, an end-of-life doula, a funeral director, a solicitor, and a bereavement counsellor.
These experts will talk about some of the things to keep in mind when making end of life arrangements.
Following the discussion panel, we will host a Death Café.
Death Cafés have no set agenda or questions - they are for you to discuss your thoughts and reflections on death in small groups while enjoying some refreshments and cake!
This is a FREE event.
