Goulburn Mulwaree Library will be hosting ‘Australia’s Renovation Queen’ Cherie Barber on Wednesday 21 April at 12:30pm.
Cherie Barber is widely recognised as an Australian expert on renovating for profit and flipping houses. She has appeared on television programs such as the currently airing Space Invaders, as well as starring in 8 seasons of The Living Room, and 5 Day Flip internationally, as well as in print in thousands of press articles and her own book Renovating for Profit.
Cherie has personally renovated more than 120 properties and been involved in property deals in excess of $50 million. She has also taken almost 20,000 people through her renovating for profit courses, including cosmetic renovations, home renovations, and more commercial small development and Airbnb courses.
At the Library Cherie will be talking about the small cosmetic changes you can make to your home to make a big difference to its look and feel. Regional areas such as around the Southern Tablelands and Southern Highlands are seeing strong housing market demand in the wake of COVID-19, and Cherie’s suggestions may be valuable if you’re looking to sell.
Cherie will also be talking about things to consider around interior design, the sorts of things to take into account when making plans for renovations, and real-world, practical tips for the things to think about when undertaking a renovation project.
Cherie’s talk will coincide with the Library celebrating the first anniversary of our own cosmetic re-design with our new shelving and Library layout.
The talk will begin at 12:30pm on Wednesday 21 April 2021, held in the Goulburn Mulwaree Council Chambers.
The session is free, but bookings are essential and can be made online at https://www.trybooking.com/BOXDL, in person at the Library, or by calling on (02) 4823 4435.
